Notice: Donation of Personal Property to Wayne Community College Basic Law Enforcement Training

PUBLIC NOTICE

DONATION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY TO WAYNE COMMUNITY COLLEGE BASIC LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING

The City of Goldsboro is providing public notice to declare surplus city personal property and authorize the donation to Wayne Community College Basic Law Enforcement Program. Pursuant to N.C.G.S. §160A-280 which allows the City to donate to another governmental unit within the United States, or an incorporated nonprofit organization after providing public notice and Council approval.

The purpose of said notice is for the City of Goldsboro to declare surplus twenty-five (25) right and five (5) left handed holsters. The City has determined that the personal property described is surplus and obsolete. The City Council will consider a resolution approving the conveyance of personal property to a governmental unit at the May 6, 2024, meeting.
