Goldsboro City Council to Revamp Meeting Time and Format Starting January 2025

Beginning Jan. 6, 2025, the meeting time and format of the Goldsboro City Council meetings will change to allow for a more streamlined and efficient process. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in the Council Chambers.

The new format will flow as follows.

  • CALL TO ORDER – 5:30 p.m. – Council Chambers
  • ROLL CALL
  • RECOGNITIONS AND PRESENTATIONS
  • PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
  • CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS
  • OLD BUSINESS
  • NEW BUSINESS
  • PUBLIC HEARINGS
  • CITY MANAGER’S REPORT
  • MAYOR AND COUNCILMEMBERS’ COMMENTS
  • CLOSED SESSION
  • ADJOURNMENT
