Goldsboro Parks and Recreation Seeks Public Input in Planning for the Future

The City of Goldsboro Parks and Recreation Department is updating their master plan and needs your input!  Over the next month, the City will host several public input sessions to gather suggestions from residents and showcase idea boards for the 2025 Master Plan.

The most recent Parks and Recreation Master Plan was completed in 2008 and updated in 2012. Much has changed in the area over the years, as have many of the residents. The community’s participation is crucial to the success of the plan as the main goal of the City and the Parks and Recreation Department is to create a plan that encompasses the collective vision and priorities of the residents of Goldsboro.

Members of the public are encouraged to participate in one of the public input sessions being held between now and April 19 or by completing the online survey, which can be found on the Parks and Recreation website.
